Happy Halloween!

These were the best pictures I could get of Andrew in his costume. Just no way to get him to sit or stand still. He did love wearing his costume though. We had a hard time getting him to go to bed. He wanted to stay up with us and dance to the music. He knew it was a special night!

Pre Halloween Fun!!!

12 Month Old Trouble!

Andrew, is a very fun 12 month old! He is interested in EVERYTHING. Wants to touch EVERYTHING. And, wants to be a big kid yesterday. His new favorite activity is helping his dad play with tools. It is the cutest thing to watch. He has to be right next to daddy and wants to touch it all, and be a helper guy. He is such a BOY!
Andrew, had his 12 month check up--he is still in the 95% for height, and 12% for weight. Tall and skinny--and he eats like a horse. As Andrew was emptying ALL the doctors drawers, the doctor said that Andrew is more like a 18 month old. Lucky me :)

He loves climbing on anything he can find, big or small. We finally got the hot tub on the deck last week. As Erik was cleaning up yesterday, Andrew climbed the stairs of the hot tub and we realized Andrew is able to get on top of the hot tub. A problem we didn't see coming so soon. So, now we have to come up with something to fix that problem...which then lead us to realize he is going to be climbing the deck railing very soon. THAT SCARES ME!

The bathroom is his FAVORITE room in the house. We have to keep the door closed or Andrew will go swimming. He is not happy when we drag him away.

Loves to do anything we do...

Cute Boy!!!!

Zoo Fun!

Andrew is loving the zoo. I can't believe how fast he grows and changes. Just a few months ago he had a hard time seeing the animals. Now he can't get enough! And, he loves going on the train.

California Trip

I realized I hadn't put any California pictures on the blog, so better late than never!
We decided to drive with a camping stop in Elko. Andrew loved everything until it was time for bed. Let's just say we didn't sleep.

Hiking in the Ruby Mountains...It was beautiful.

After our stop in San Francisco and Berkeley, we went to Mendocino. We lucked out with weather. I don't think we've ever had blue sky everyday. We went to the Botanical Gardens with Grandma Marilyn and Great-Grandma Rosey.

Walking around the headlands (you can see Mendocino in the background).

Taking a bath in the sink. Andrew thought that was pretty cool.

Driving with Grandpa John...

Hiking in the redwoods.

Eli and Amy had a beautiful wedding among the redwoods. We were very lucky in that Andrew slept through the ceremony and woke up in time for the party!

Andrew's First Birthday

At the last minute--and because they wanted an excuse to open a big bottle of bubbly--my parents decided to have a last-minute party for my first birthday.

My mom made me two cakes!

At first I wasn't sure why they set up my chair outside, or why they offered me a plate of food that was 100 times larger than myusual portion!

Clapping with cake on my hands was particularly fun...

I kind of like this birthday thing!

We Have A Walker

Did I miss something? One minute Andrew is taking a step or two with someone holding both his hands, tightly, to the next walking down the hall. But, I guess this is how I feel about the last 10 months. Didn't I just come home from the hospital? Now I have a walker? Wow! It is just all going too fast!

Here are a couple videos of Andrew walking. First, it is hard to get videos because Andrew loves the camera...when he sees it, he wants it (and Andrew is a VERY determined little boy). Second, you never know when he is going to take off down the hall. We are only in the beginning stages of walking, and he will only walk when he wants to (and no one will tell him otherwise...sound like anyone we know???) Of course, he will walk when he sees something he wants (usually that is Jada, the cat, or a treat).

Andrew's little personality is really starting to shine through. I just love how happy he is. He is really fun to take around because he is always happy to go, explore, and have fun. He just gets cuter everyday!

Busy Boy

I am embarrassed it has been so long since I last put pictures up, so please forgive me. We are busy having a wonderful summer, and the days go so fast. Andrew, is growing and changing so fast, I wanted everyone to see him.

Andrew = Busy. Busy = Andrew. I told the doctor last week, that I'm sure everyone comes in and says how cute, smart, and advanced their own baby is, but wow...going after the toilet paper at 9 months? What will it be at 12 months? I have my hands full! Andrew, had a great 9 month check up and he is once again off the charts for height, and he is in the 75% for weight. The doctor was very pleased how well he is doing.

Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the last few weeks....

Fun at the pool.

Andrew, loves the dishwasher. He can hear it open from the other room and comes right over!

Having fun in the boat!

Andrew's first play date! He had a great time.
Climbing in the shelves.

Loves to play with Jada.

The Fun Begins!!

Andrew, loves the vacuum! Now that he can crawl, if he sees that vacuum, he makes a break for it.
He is so proud of himself!
Fun making a mess (although I have not seen anything yet!)

We Have A Crawler

On the day before Andrew hit his 8 month mark, he put all his hard work together, and started crawling! He is getting better at it every time he tries, but he still prefers to be on his feet and try walking...it won't be long before that happens.

This is a video from his first day crawling.

We are having a great start to summer. We have been busy having fun. Here are a few pictures of what we've been up to the past few weeks...
Andrew, has finally learned that swimming is fun! We are having a great time, on hot days, playing at the pool. It is going to be a great way to enjoy the hot summer! Andrew, likes watching the other kids at the pool and playing in the water.

I got a pass to the zoo this summer, so we'll be checking out the animals a lot!

Fun with Aunt Nicole.
He liked looking at the animals and was able to follow them when we were close or they were big.
Checking out the monkey's with Grandpa.
His hair has started to grow! Looks like he'll be a blond boy!
Playing games with Dad in the backyard.
Uncle B.J. means business!
Andrew and Jada together...what great friends!
Andrew, is learning what the camera is and what to do when I take it out. What a great smile!
Playing with his toys.
Andrew, LOVES bath time.

Learning to walk...

Andrew, has a swing in the backyard. We are still working on teaching him it is fun.
